BirdTREK 2026 is a collaborative project between Quinte Conservation and Shakedown Street Birds starting this Spring 2026.
Join us this summer as we venture out and explore the conservation areas managed and maintained by Quinte Conservation. This Quinte Conservation and Shakedown Street Birds collaboration will take you on a photographic journey of beautiful birds, wildlife and scenery. Learn the history of Quinte Conservation and some facts along the way of some of our most cherished outdoor spaces.
There will be prizes along this trek for our viewers on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. When you comment on our posts you will be entered into a draw for some great prizes!!
In the fall, the top 13 photos selected by you, the viewers, will be printed and sold as 2027 wall calendars as a fundraiser for Quinte Conservation. Calendars can be pre purchased at any time, however there will be a very limited run of only 30 units. If you wish to pre order this limited run please email christopher@shakedownstreetbirds.ca. They will sell out in a couple days!! All proceeds to Quinte Conservation.
Donations supporting this project are graciously accepted by contacting Quinte Conservation or by going to the Quinte Conservation website under the donation section and look for birdTREK 2026. Proceeds/donations will go to the Bird Trek 2026 – Native bird education program.
